My name is Deuscies

/dˈuː-sˈiːz/

I am a UX Researcher based in Montreal, Canada, with an interdisciplinary background in psychology and UX design.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University and a Master’s degree in UX Design from the University of Toronto, which together ground my work in human cognition, behaviour, and motivation. This foundation enables me to uncover users’ underlying needs and frame the right problems through rigorous, empathy-driven research.

I applied these skills at Intact, where I supported UX research initiatives for digital insurance products, collaborating cross-functionally to inform product decisions and improve complex user journeys through qualitative and quantitative insights.

Today, I leverage this experience to drive digital innovation through user research at National Bank of Canada.
